The present study aims to construct a valid and reliable measure that provides indicators for assessing the degree of national cohesion within Saudi society, which is considered one of the most important societal values. Data were randomly collected from 1,020 participants using the third edition of the National Cohesion Index, developed by the King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication, comprising 68 items. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was conducted, revealing that 56 items in the Cohesion Index were grouped into four main factors: 17 items on two political factors, 21 items on five sociocultural factors, 13 items on two economic factors, and 5 items on one social security factor. In conclusion, the National Cohesion Index is a valid and reliable index that can be used in Saudi society.
